A type of tea called Gyokuro is grown in more heavily shaded areas than more common teas. Thanks to this location of the bushes, the leaves are less exposed to the sun's rays, which affects the shade of the leaf, its moisture content and, ultimately, the quality and taste of the infusion. Gyokuro is considered by many green tea aficionados to be the best benchmark for this category. The infusion has an exceptionally intense green color. The aroma and taste is surprising and unique, practically devoid of a bitter background.
