Cool winters and warm rainy summers favor the growth of tea bushes. Sakhejung Gardens are owned by women from the village of the same name. They are located in the Ilam region famous for its stunning views and enjoys growing high quality teas. The shrubs grow at altitudes ranging from 1,800 m to 2,150 m. The brown dried tea with lots of amber leaves smells delicate and subtle. During brewing, the leaves unfold strongly showing their beautiful shape and delight with strong aromatic notes.
