

Lapsang Souchong is a Chinese tea from Fukien province with a distinct smoky aroma. It is created during the process of smoking the tea in smoke made from Chinese pine roots. It has many minerals from the soil of the Fukien area. The slender, long-rolled leaves of this tea produce an infusion of red color and smoky flavor. Among other things, it is recommended for hearty English-style breakfasts and fish dishes.
