

This tea originates from the mountainous Yunnan province located in China near the border with Vietnam, Burma and Laos. The tea plant is characterized by wide and fleshy leaves with a glossy surface. The lighter-colored leaves (known as tips) are clearly visible in the dried tea. The infusion is characterized by its brown color, intense, distinctive aroma and aftertaste. It is a rather strong, astringent in taste tea.
