Golden Yunnan
The tea originates from the mountainous Yunnan province located in China near the border with Vietnam, Burma and Laos, and the tea bushes growing in the region are characterized by wide and fleshy leaves with a glossy surface. The province is home to some 200 local tea varieties, many of which are considered among the finest types of classic tea in the world. Golden Yunnan gets its name from the large number of golden "tips," which give the resulting dry tea an unparalleled golden amber hue. The resulting infusion is strong and aromatic, with a dry taste appreciated by gourmets.
