A traditional Earl Grey tea based on Ceylon black tea, wrapped in the wonderful aroma of rose petals. Ideal at breakfast time, as well as an addition to after-dinner sweets. Earl Grey tea owes its unique taste and aroma to bergamot oil. The name bergamot was introduced by the Turks to describe the fruit of the Princely Pear, grown in the Mediterranean zone, which is similar in shape to citrus fruit and has a thick, fleshy skin. It is from this skin that the aromatic oil added to Earl Grey teas, among other things, is pressed.
