Rooibos Flower of Africa
A precious combination of African red bush with mild apple, aromatic rose and sunflower petals. Due to the delicate taste of the brew, as well as the lack of theine content, Rooibos is recommended for children, pregnant women (prevents nausea!) or during breastfeeding, as well as the elderly, as it has no stimulating or irritating properties. Excellent for consumption immediately before bedtime, it calms you down and makes it easier to fall asleep.
Rooibos is a shrub grown in South Africa, unrelated to tea with which it shares only a brewing method. It has, however, become established to refer to the red bush infusion as just "tea". Rooibos tea is made from the leaves of the bush, which are dried and cut into small pieces. The infusion is straw-colored, and its taste is distinguished by a hint of honey. The infusion is characterized by its mildness and lack of the bitter aftertaste typical of green or black teas, as it does not contain the tannins that cause it. It also does not contain caffeine, so it can be drunk freely by children and before bedtime. It is also recommended for pregnant women because it is rich in iron and prevents nausea.
