Rooibos Flower of Africa
Rooibos with the addition of apple, rose petals and calendula.
A proprietary composition built on a rooibos base supplemented with black and red currant, blackberry and hawthorn flower. Rooibos is a shrub grown in South Africa, unrelated to tea with which it is connected only in the way it is brewed. It has, however, become established to refer to the red bush infusion as just "tea". Rooibos tea is made from the leaves of the bush, which are dried and cut into small pieces. The infusion is straw-colored, and its taste is distinguished by a hint of honey. The infusion is characterized by its mildness and lack of the bitter aftertaste typical of green or black teas, as it does not contain the tannins that cause it. It also does not contain caffeine, so it can be drunk freely by children and before bedtime. It is also recommended for pregnant women because it is rich in iron and prevents nausea.
