English breakfast is one of the most famous and appreciated compositions in the world. Its wonderful taste and aroma is achieved by adding bergamot oil. Earl Grey tea owes its unique taste and aroma to the oil of bergamot. The name bergamot was introduced by the Turks, describing by this term the fruit of the Princely Pear, grown in the Mediterranean zone, similar in shape to citrus fruit, having a thick, fleshy skin. It is from this skin that the aromatic oil added to Earl Grey teas, among other things, is pressed. The appearance of Earl Grey tea in Europe is probably related to the transport of tea from China. During the long journey, tea leaves were protected with bergamot oil, placing it in the transport hatches so as to protect the cargo from the effects of mold and the specific smell of fish. Earl Grey tea also has health benefits. Substances contained in bergamot oil strengthen the immune system, increase the production of endorphins, responsible for improving mood, and stimulate brain function. It's a great option for breakfast that will keep us in a good mood all day long.

Recommended brewing method:
1 teaspoon of tea per cup (200ml), pour 95 degrees Celsius water over the leaves (immediately after boiling). Brewing time about 3 minutes under a lid, after this time separate the leaves from the infusion.
