Nicaragua Specialty comes from the Jinotega region, one of the most important coffee growing areas in Central America. Grown at high altitudes and washed, it delights with its clean flavor profile and perfect balance of fruity freshness and natural sweetness.
In the cup, one finds distinct notes of grapefruit, which give the brew a slightly citrusy character. They are accompanied by pleasant accents of nuts and subtle notes of black tea, bringing elegance and a long, harmonious finish. With high sweetness and moderate acidity, the coffee remains extremely pleasant and versatile.
Taste: The taste is dominated by notes of grapefruit broken by a pleasant sweetness and delicate accents of nuts. The whole is complemented by elegant notes of black tea, which give the brew lightness and a long finish.
Aromat: Notes of citrus, roasted nuts and subtle tea accents.

Espresso: Nicaragua Specialty offers a harmonious combination of citrus freshness, sweetness and delicate tea notes. The infusion is well-balanced, aromatic and extremely pleasant for everyday drinking.
Automatic Express: This method brings out the natural sweetness of the beans and subtle notes of grapefruit and nuts. The coffee remains mild, full of flavor and very versatile.
Drip / Pour Over: Overflow methods best highlight the purity of the flavor profile and the characteristic notes of grapefruit and black tea. The brew is light, elegant and exceptionally aromatic.
Chemex: In the Chemex, the coffee gains even more clarity and delicacy. The citrus accents become more pronounced and the tea-like finish becomes more elegant.
French Press: It brings out a fuller body and sweeter character of the brew. The nutty notes become more noticeable, while maintaining the freshness and lightness of the coffee.
Our recommendation: Nicaragua Specialty best presents its character in pour-over methods, especially in the drip and Chemex, where the combination of grapefruit freshness, sweetness and subtle notes of black tea can be most fully discovered.
