Guatemala Maragogype is an exceptional Arabica sourced from the southern slopes of Guatemala, a region renowned for growing coffees with an extremely clean and elegant flavor profile. The beans ripen at altitudes between 1,400 and 1,900 meters above sea level, where the cooler climate and fertile, volcanic soils allow the coffees to develop a rich aroma and depth of flavor.
The Maragogype variety, often referred to as the "elephant bean" due to its exceptionally large beans, is valued for its mild character, velvety body and subtle flavor complexity. The coffee is distinguished by its harmonious profile, delicate acidity and very low bitterness, making it ideal for both espresso and pour-over methods.
This is for those looking for an elegant, balanced specialty coffee with a mild and highly aromatic character.
