Darjeeling First Flush comes from a small region in northern India, located high in the Himalayas, between Nepal and Bhutan. Plantations located above 2,000 meters above sea level benefit from the cooler climate and mountain air, which give the tea its characteristic lightness and complexity.

The first harvest of the season - the so-called First Flush - is particularly prized and largely destined for export. This is when the tea with the most delicate profile, a light golden brew and a distinctly floral aroma is produced. This is Darjeeling at its freshest in spring - light, elegant and very distinctive.

Taste: Light, fresh and extremely subtle. It is dominated by floral notes, a delicate sweetness and a slightly dry, refreshing texture. The brew is bright, elegant and very clean, with a short, fresh finish and an almost "spring" character.

Aromat: Distinctly floral and fresh - with notes of green leaves and a delicate, natural sweetness.

Appearance: A mixture of small, irregular leaves in shades of green, brown and gold. Dried light, with visible young buds characteristic of the first harvest.

Preparation suggestion: Pour about 2-3 grams of tea into 200 ml of 85-90°C water and brew for 2-3 minutes. A lower temperature preserves the delicacy and floral aroma, while longer brewing can bring out more dryness and slight bitterness.

The tea also works well with the second brewing - it will be even lighter and more subtle.

The dried tea is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool place. The product may contain Almonds.
