A classic composition of Earl Grey tea enriched with the peel of a ripe lemon. The refreshing taste of the exotic fruit emphasizes the rich bouquet of the brew giving it a pleasant sour expression. Earl Grey tea owes its unique taste and aroma to the oil of bergamot. The name bergamot was introduced by the Turks to describe the fruit of the Princely Pear, grown in the Mediterranean zone, similar in shape to citrus fruit, having a thick, fleshy skin. It is from this skin that the aromatic oil added to Earl Grey teas, among others, is pressed.
