White Moon
A white tea, grown in Yunnan province in China. It enchants with beautiful, large buds of silvery-white color. A rich bouquet of flavors and aromas is the dominant feature of this unusual brew. Malty, woody notes intertwine with the freshness of flowers and herbs. A light proposition for pleasant tasting and discovering novelties on the tea map.

Interestingly, the name of the tea corresponds to the wilting (drying) process, which is unusual. White Moon (also called White Moonlight) is said to be a tea that wilts by moonlight, because the process is so long that it often lasts not only all day (as in many other white teas), but also through the night - until morning. A straw-colored, delicate infusion that hides a wealth of flavors. Perceptible malty and woody notes, subtly intermingle with herbal, floral and even fruity accents. Compared to Yunnan Silver Needle, it is definitely more distinct in flavor. Interestingly, the tea changes in flavor depending on the length of storage, the longer it is aged the more it resembles black tea in taste. We recommend repeated brewing and experimenting with longer steeping times and lower brewing temperatures.
