Lapsang Souchong originates from China's Fujian province and is one of the world's most distinctive black teas. Its unique profile is created during the traditional process of smoking the leaves in Chinese pine smoke, giving the tea an intense, smoky aroma and deep flavor.

It's for those looking for something decisive and not obvious. The brew has a dark red color, a dry character and a distinct minerality resulting from the terroir of the Fujian region. Lapsang Souchong is perfect for cooler weather, with dry dishes or as a tea for quiet evening drinking.

Taste: Expressive, smoky and very distinctive. Notes of smoked wood, light resinousness and subtle dryness dominate. The brew is deep, full-bodied and lingers long on the palate, creating a strong, almost chimney-like atmosphere.

Aromat: Intensely smoky, with notes of pine wood, smoke and light minerality.

Dried appearance: Fine, dark and longitudinally twisted leaves with a matte finish. Dried compact and noticeably darker than classic black teas.

Dry ingredients: black tea 100%

Country of origin: China

Preparation suggestion: Pour about 2-3 grams of tea per 200 ml of water at 95-100°C and brew for 2 to 4 minutes. Shorter brewing will maintain more balance, while longer brewing will bring out the fullness of the smoky and resinous notes.

The tea also works well the second time it is brewed - the infusion then becomes milder and more balanced.

The dried tea is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool place. The product may contain Almonds.

Evening atmosphere
Brewed classically, it gives a deep, smoky brew perfect for a cool evening. The aroma creates an almost chimney-like atmosphere. Intense and very distinctive.

For dry flavors
It pairs well with cheeses, breads and more dry foods. Its smoky profile pairs well with food. Unusual and very culinary.

At ease
Brewed for a shorter time, it becomes milder, but still retains its smoky character. In this version it is softer and more balanced. Deep, but calmer.

Signature - heavily smoked
More leaves and longer brewing bring out the fullness of its dry character. The taste becomes more intense and resinous. This is the most expressive version of this tea.
