It owes its fruity taste to the chokeberry fruit, while the floral note comes from rose and cornflower petals.

Yerba mate is nothing more than the dried, ground leaves and sticks of the Paraguayan holly, prepared to make an infusion popular mainly in South American countries. The name yerba mate was most likely invented by the Jesuits. It comes from the transformed Latin word herba - herb and mati which in Ketchua means calabash, in which the herb is brewed. Yerba mate stimulates the mind, often used to improve memory and concentration. It is used as a stimulant tonic, lifting mental and physical fatigue. South Americans have known and appreciated the beneficial effects of Yerba Mate for centuries. It stimulates similarly to coffee, however, compared to coffee, which stimulates strongly but briefly - it stimulates for a long time while providing a great deal of minerals and trace elements, reducing appetite.
