Kenya Meru is an exceptional Arabica sourced from the high altitude plantations of the Meru region of Kenya, an area prized for producing coffees with intense aroma and distinctive character. The beans ripen at altitudes between 1,500 and 2,100 meters above sea level, where the cool climate and volcanic soils favor the slow ripening of the coffee fruit and the building of a complex flavor profile.
The combination of different varieties gives the coffee a full body, a pleasant fruity freshness and a deep aroma characteristic of Kenyan arabicas. Kenya Meru impresses with its intensity, harmonious acidity and subtle sweetness, creating a cup with a very elegant and multifaceted character.
This is for those looking for a more pronounced specialty coffee with a fruity touch and rich aroma.
