Japan Arashiyama
Japan Bancha Arashiyama is one of the most popular green teas in Japan. It comes from the same tea bushes as Sencha, but is harvested later - in late August. It has a yellow-green infusion with a characteristic very pleasant and strong flavor, where sweet accents contrast with a subtle bitterness.

The word Arashiyama itself means "dangerous mountains," and it is the name of a beautiful mountain village located on the banks of the Oi River. The tea gardens are situated on mountain slopes where climatic conditions favor the growth of the shrubs. Hand-harvested leaves are processed and, after drying, gently rolled. The dried leaves mainly consist of fairly thick, dark green leaves with well-developed nerves and soft stems, which contain less theine, so they are suitable for consumption even in the evening. When brewed, they give the infusion a yellow-green color with a sweet aroma. It has a pleasant flavor that intertwines sweetness with a slightly perceptible bitterness, which heightens the taste experience and stimulates the senses. Recommended for consumption regardless of the time of day. It is also a great option for a unique, exclusive tea gift.
