Ceylon High Grown OP comes from Sri Lanka, where teas are grown from the lowlands to the high reaches of the central mountain range. The highest valued varieties come from plantations above 1,200 meters above sea level, where the cooler climate and mountain air give the leaves their characteristic lightness and freshness.
In this release, Ceylon shows its most elegant profile - the infusion is bright, clean and refreshing, with a delicate aroma and citrus notes. It's a tea that doesn't overwhelm, but rather refreshes and organizes the flavor - ideal for those looking for a lighter, more subtle alternative to classic black teas.
Taste: Light, fresh and noticeably more crisp than classic Assam teas. There are subtle citrus notes, a subtle bitterness and a pleasant, refreshing texture. The infusion is clean, clear and slightly stimulating, with a shorter, fresh finish.
Aromat: Subtle and elegant - noticeable light notes of citrus, fresh leaves and delicate sweetness.
Appearance: Long, thin, slightly twisted leaves of dark color, interlaced with golden tips in places. The structure is light and more "loose" than in Assams.
Dry ingredients: Ceylon black tea 100%
Country of origin: Sri Lanka
Preparation suggestion: Pour about 2-3 grams of tea into 200 ml of 90-95°C water and brew for 2 to 3 minutes. Shorter brewing will emphasize the freshness and slightly citrusy character of the infusion, while longer brewing will bring out more structure and mild bitterness.
The tea also works well for the second brewing - the infusion will be lighter, but will still retain its clarity and freshness.

The dried tea is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool place. The product may contain Almonds.

Morning refreshment
Brewed classically, it gives a light and stimulating infusion that opens the day well without being overly intense. A great alternative to heavier black teas. Light, clean and energizing.
Warm, light style
Brewed shorter, it becomes even more subtle and delicate. Fresh citrus notes are more pronounced in this version. Ideal for a calm start to the day.
For cool (ice tea)
When brewed and cooled, it gains even more refreshing character. It can be served with ice cubes and a slice of lemon. Light, fresh and very pleasant.
Signature - clean and dry
The slightly higher leaf count and shorter brewing bring out the more dry, robust side of this tea. The flavor becomes more concentrated, but still light. Minimalistic and very clear.
