Black Oolong catches the eye with its appearance alone—its small, tightly curled leaves stand out with their exceptionally dark, brownish-graphite color. Once brewed, they gradually unfurl, creating a deep and harmonious infusion with a distinctively tea-like character. This is an interesting option for those who want to explore a darker side of oolong, one that clearly differs from the light, floral varieties in this category. It tastes best without any additives that might mask its natural profile.
Taste:
Distinctive, deep, and harmonious, with the complexity characteristic of oolongs. The brew combines a fuller, bold character with a mellow finish, making it pleasant and well-balanced.
Aromat:
Deep and tea-like, with a warm, robust character. As the leaves unfurl during brewing, the aroma gradually becomes fuller and more complex.
Dried appearance:
The small, tightly curled, and irregular leaves are a very dark, brownish-graphite color, with some areas taking on warmer shades of brown. The dried leaves are compact and fairly uniform, and they gradually unfurl during brewing.
Dry ingredients: oolong tea 100%
Country of origin: China
Preparation suggestion: Black Oolong is best brewed with water at a temperature of about 90–95°C for 2–3 minutes. Use 2–3 g of dried tea leaves per 200 ml of water. The curled leaves need room to expand, so it’s best to use a larger infuser or vessel where they can unfurl freely. The tea can be steeped several times.

The dried tea is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool place. The product may contain Almonds.

Classic:
Brew the tea in a porcelain or glass vessel, leaving plenty of room for the rolled leaves to unfurl. Serve it plain—this is the best way to appreciate its roasted, slightly nutty, and cocoa-like notes.
In a small bowl:
Serve the hot infusion in a small, simple ceramic cup. Darker ceramics and natural wood complement the deep character of Black Oolong well, creating a calm, minimalist setting.
A few more brews:
Use the same leaves to make several infusions, gradually increasing the steeping time. This is a good way to get to know Black Oolong—subsequent infusions may become milder, and the roasted notes may give way to softer, more subtle flavors.
Signature – Dark Ritual:
Brew the Black Oolong in a small teapot and serve it in two small cups placed on a wooden tray. No additional ingredients—the only garnish can be a small amount of dark dried tea leaves scattered nearby. A simple, understated presentation will highlight the character of this tea without any unnecessary embellishments.
