TGFOP's Assam Dekorai comes from northeastern India's Assam region, where the Camellia assamica variety - known for its intense, malty character - is grown. It's a tea that comes from classic plantations, where climatic conditions and fertile soils give the leaves their characteristic depth.
In this release, Assam shows its most recognizable side - full-bodied, expressive and decisive. The infusion is intense, with a deep color and a distinct malty profile that has been a staple for black tea lovers for years. This is a classic in its pure form - robust, strong and extremely satisfying.
Taste: Full-bodied, expressive and deep, with a malty note characteristic of Assam. There are hints of honey, dark bread and a slight caramel sweetness in the brew, which balance the light, pleasant astringency. This is a tea with a solid structure and a long, warming finish.
Aromat: Rich and intense - noticeable notes of malt, warm wood and a subtle sweetness reminiscent of molasses.
Appearance: Long, neatly twisted leaves of dark, deep color with visible golden tips, testifying to the high quality of the TGFOP crop.

Preparation suggestion: Pour 2-3 grams of leaves into about 200 ml of water at 95-100°C. Steep for 2 to 4 minutes, depending on how intense an infusion you want. A shorter brew will bring out more of the natural sweetness and mellowness, while a longer brew will emphasize the depth, strength and astringency characteristic of Assam.
This tea stands up well to re-pouring - the second infusion will be softer, but will still retain its distinct malty profile.
The dried tea is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool place. The product may contain Almonds.
