Assam Satrupa comes from northeastern India - a region famous for producing some of the world's most distinctive black teas. The fertile soils and humid climate of the Brahmaputra valley give the teas here their unique depth, strength and rich aroma.

In the case of Assam Satrupa, the classic, distinctive character has been enriched with subtly malty and honeyed notes, allowing the brew to remain extremely harmonious and enjoyable. The tea is perfect both as an intense start to the day and as a companion for a leisurely breakfast. It also tastes great with the addition of milk.

Taste: Full-bodied, intense and harmonious. The classic depth of Assam teas is combined here with delicately malty and honeyed notes that soften the distinct character of the brew. The tea remains strong, but very pleasant and balanced.

Aromat: Rich and warm, with distinct notes of malt, wood and a subtle caramel sweetness.

Dried appearance: Dark, medium-sized leaves with an irregular texture. The dryness presents itself classically and very aromatic.

Dry ingredients: Assam black tea 100%

Country of origin: India

Preparation suggestion: Pour about 2-3 grams of tea into 200 ml of 95°C water and steep for 2-4 minutes. Shorter steeping will preserve more of the natural sweetness and mildness, while longer steeping will emphasize the depth, strength and characteristic malty notes of Assam. The tea also pairs very well with milk.

The dried tea is recommended to be stored in a dry and cool place. The product may contain Almonds.

Classic breakfast:
Brewed traditionally, it gives a strong and stimulating brew with a deep aroma. It goes perfectly with the morning ritual and breakfast. Distinctive and very classic.

With milk:
The addition of milk accentuates the malt and honey notes of the tea, giving it a creamier character. The infusion remains intense, but becomes exceptionally velvety. Comforting and warming.

For a quiet afternoon:
When brewed a little shorter, it becomes softer and mildly sweet. It is good for a moment of relaxation or working at your desk. Harmonious and pleasantly calm.

Signature - deep Assam:
More drying brings out the fullness of the classic Assam character. The infusion becomes intense, malty and woody and very long in the finish. This is the most expressive version of this tea.
