This aromatic bean comes from the Yirgacheffe region, where it ripens in full sun at an altitude of 1700-2200 meters above sea level. Contrary to popular opinion about Ethiopian coffee, instead of strong acidity, it treats us with an extremely delicate yet diverse flavor and aroma composition. This is one of the most aromatic coffees in the ETNO brand's portfolio. Its aroma combines subtle floral notes with a slightly more pronounced and refreshing bergamot underpinned by a nutty depth. On the taste, a delicate sweetness comes to the fore, which gives way to citrusy acidity over time, and this passes into a mild bitterness and dots the "i". The whole thing also leaves behind a wonderful chocolate aftertaste that is irresistible.
Brewing with the pour-over method will bring out all that is most wonderful about Yirgacheffe: a delicate citricity will reign supreme, on par with the almond and chocolate sweetness. An espresso or americano made in a cob machine will already grace us with a decidedly sweeter, but also slightly more delicate flavor, especially when a drip of milk is added to the whole.
