Sencha green tea is obtained by subjecting the leaves to drying immediately after they are picked from the bush, so as not to start the oxidation process. As a result, it retains more of the ingredients with medicinal properties, and has many taste qualities (herbal aroma and noticeably milder flavor than other types of tea). Our Japanese Sencha comes from Chinese plantations, but is prepared the Japanese way. The standards in force in Japan regarding the cultivation of tea bushes and the processing of the dried tea make the tea obtained by this method of the highest quality.
