Nepal Maloom comes from the high mountain plantations of Nepal, where cooler air, intense sunshine and lower pressure create exceptional conditions for growing the highest quality teas. This is what gives the brew its lightness, freshness and subtle floral character.
Only the youngest parts of the tea plant - buds and young leaves - are used, which translates into an elegant and harmonious flavor profile. The tea is often compared to high-end Darjeeling, but is distinguished by its greater softness and calmer character. It is an option for those who appreciate refined, subtle teas.
Taste: Subtle, light and very harmonious. There are delicate floral notes, the freshness characteristic of high mountain teas and a soft, natural sweetness. The infusion is reminiscent of the best Darjeeling teas, but softer and more velvety than them.
