Kyoto Whisky is a composition inspired by a quiet evening, warm light and the elegance of Japanese flavors. A delicate but distinctive oolong meets here with deep hints of black currant, plum and a subtle aroma inspired by maturing whisky. The brew is enveloping, slightly dry and very harmonious - at once fruity and refined in character.

Taste: A deep and slightly dry oolong is combined here with an intense hint of black currant and the delicate sweetness of freeze-dried plum. The brew is full-bodied, slightly fruity and subtly smoky on the palate, with a pleasant, elegant finish. Lemon zest adds a touch of freshness to the composition, which balances the darker and more enveloping notes.

Aromat: Rich, fruity and woody and slightly dry. There are notes of ripe black currant, dried plum and subtle accents inspired by aged whiskey and wood. The overall scent is warm, elegant and very distinctive.

Dried appearance: Finely rolled oolong leaves intertwine with pieces of plum, lemon zest and dark accents of black currant. The whole is kept in deep, natural colors with delicate red and amber accents, giving the blend an elegant and slightly refined character.

Preparation suggestion: Pour 1 teaspoon of tea over water at about 85-90°C and steep for 2-3 minutes. The delicate oolong best develops its deep, slightly fruity character at a moderate brewing temperature. The infusion can be brewed several times - subsequent cups become more subtle and dry.

In the frozen version:
Serve the chilled brew with large ice cubes and a thin slice of plum or dark grapes. The chilled version brings out the fruity freshness of the tea and makes its dry character more modern and light.

With dark fruits:
Add some fresh black currant or blackberry fruit to the hot brew. The natural fruitiness accentuates the deep character of the oolong very well and gives the tea a more dessert-like but still elegant finish.
