It helps to keep your body well hydrated, and at the same time take care of the environment.

One plastic bottle takes 100 to as long as 1,000 years to decompose. In Poland, about 3 billion pieces of this type of waste are produced and consumed every year. Not surprisingly, in the face of advancing climate change and the increasing importance of pro-environmental measures, the reusable bottle has become more than just a fashionable gadget. Using it shows concern for the environment and demonstrates a high level of consumer awareness. It is also a truly important investment in health and well-being.

A plastic bottle contains bisphenol - a harmful organic compound that easily penetrates into water and then into the human body. That's why it's so important to have a reusable water bottle to accompany us on a daily basis. The really good quality ones are usually made of human-friendly eco-friendly material, such as tritan or borosilicate glass. Some bottles are also equipped with special replaceable filters. In the basic version, such filters contain activated carbon, which absorbs all impurities found in tap water and neutralizes the typical specific taste and smell of chlorine. There are also filters on the market with minerals, which release magnesium, iron or calcium into the water. Bottles or bidons with a special filter further enrich the quality of the liquids we drink, which in the long run is of great importance for our health.

Water bottle or water bottle - what and how to choose?

A water bottle should be a well-considered purchase. Before choosing the right one, it is worth thinking about the situations in which we will need it most often. Do we need a handy bottle that we can keep in our purse or backpack without worrying that the liquid will spill? Or maybe we frequent the gym and a good quality water bottle would come in handy? Do we usually drink plain or flavored water? Do we care about a bottle in which to brew our favorite tea? The answers to these questions will determine the size of the bottle we choose and its possible additional functions. Usually you can get bidons and bottles with a capacity of 400 ml, 500 ml or 700 ml. Each option will be ideal for a different occasion, so it is worth thinking about buying more than one.

There are several elements that you should absolutely pay attention to when choosing a reusable bottle. First of all, the material. The bottle should be made of environmentally friendly, BPA-free, and durable plastic, such as tritanium, which is resistant to crushing, breaking and other mechanical damage. The water bottle should also be leak-proof and easy to clean, it is worth making sure that it can be washed, for example, in a dishwasher. The weight of such a vessel is also important, especially if you intend to carry it with you at all times, such as in your purse. And finally, it is worth choosing a bottle that will allow us to consume our favorite beverage in the way we choose. Some bidons or bottles are equipped with special containers for fruit or strainers for dried tea, others have built-in straws for drinking, and still others are made of material that doubles as a heat or cold insulator, keeping the beverage inside at the optimal temperature for a long time. The choice is huge, and makes us have no more excuses: it's time to say goodbye to plastic bottles once and for all!
