How do you make yourself a delicious coffee like from a real coffee shop?

How to choose a good coffee syrup?

Ever since the black stimulating drink became in Poland something more than just the so-called "zalewajka" brewed in a transparent glass in a basket, the culture of coffee drinking has been constantly developing in Poland, and with it the market of accessories and additives diversifying the preparation of the favorite drink. Today, virtually anyone can become an amateur barista. And the basis of the equipment of every true barista is the following. coffee syrup. And not just one! Nowadays in stores we can get syrups in the most varied flavors. The best quality ones are distinguished by their deep flavor and beautiful natural aroma. And these are the ones that are worth using. What to be guided when choosing? The composition, of course! The shorter, the better. Remember that the basis of any syrup is sugar, water and flavor additive, and if flavor, then only natural. So if on the label we see a long list of artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners in the style of glucose-fructose syrup, we are certainly not dealing with a quality product.

Coffee or coffee dessert?

Let's be honest: coffee syrup was not created for people counting calories. But who could resist a delicious aromatic coffee smelling of caramel? Well, that's right. So, since we have already established that coffee with syrup does not belong to a diet, why not indulge yourself to the fullest and not make a real coffee dessert? Such a drink will be great both during a blissful lazing alone with a book, and as a culinary display in front of friends. To prepare a coffee masterpiece you will need good quality coffee and caramel syrup, vanilla or almond - we recommend, for example, the delicious Salted Caramel Syrup or Vanilla Syrup for coffee With natural vanilla paste. A suitable vessel will also come in handy, so as to present the drink nicely. The best will be a tall transparent glass, and to it a long dessert spoon. Pour syrup on the bottom of the glass - the amount is really up to you, it can be a tablespoon, two or more, but remember not to sweeten the coffee any more then, otherwise it will be undrinkable. Pour the syrup over the coffee, and put a thick layer of whipped cream on top - necessarily natural! That's not all. Sprinkle the whole thing with ready-made sprinkles, grated dark chocolate or cocoa. Done!

Warming sweetness

There is also a warming autumn and winter version of such a coffee dessert. All you have to do is choose instead of vanilla or caramel coffee syrup flavored with ginger or cinnamon, and use chili and spices such as cardamom, cloves or cinnamon stick to make the drink. Boil water in a saucepan, and then pour ground coffee into it. Boil for a while, then add the spices and again keep it on low heat for a few minutes. Later, strain the whole thing through a coffee filter. Pour the syrup into the drink. You can stop there or opt for the delux version - with whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkles.
