Chanoyu – Japanese tea ceremony

Although the world's most popular golden brew originated in China, it is the Japanese who have turned brewing and drinking tea into a ritual full of mysticism. The Japanese name for the tea ceremony is cha-no-yu, which literally translates as "boiling water for tea." In fact, however, the process is much more complicated than its name.
